Why did you choose Julie's Dream Winery?
We wanted a winery in Temecula that was new and not over done – The Vineyard House at Julie’s dream provided just that. It also allowed everyone to stay in the same place where some venues can separate into different areas, we wanted one large open concept venue.
What were some of your favorite wedding details? How did you choose them?
We loved our photobus of course! but also we loved that my aunt married us, we did a private vow exchange the morning of our wedding, we had custom napkins with fun facts about us, and we had a special bottle of champange to toast to after the ceremony.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding?
We woke up together the morning of our wedding and exchanged our vows over coffee and watching the hot air balloons in Temecula, it was a beautiful and calming way to start the intention of our day. A lot of bride and grooms say they dont spend a lot of time together, and we wanted to maximize our time together. After that we didnt see each other until our first look, both were very special moments.
Are there any elements you wish you included or removed from your wedding?
We really loved our wedding, one thing I would say is that I wish it could have lasted longer!
What are you looking forward to the most as a married couple?
Continuing our love story with adventures and growing our family
What advice do you have for couples planning their weddings?
My number one piece of advice I always give to couples is don’t get so caught up in planning your wedding that your forget about planning for your marriage. Marriage is so much more than a wedding, what are your core values and how will that shape your lives together? How will you resolve fights? Read a few books or listen to podcasts on marriage and communication together – anything by The Gottmans is a great place to start.
